Once you have got onto the endless lists of voiceovers used by producers within the BBC, you more or less have VoiceOver work for life, as long as your voice stays fashionable. The BBC does change it’s tastes, and to listen to the way they say ” this Tuesday on BBC2″ is to understand how the sound of the BBC is today. here are bits just ingrained into the public psyche that will never be lost. Just in the same way that some personalities just stay forever. Bruce Forsyth, Terry Wogan. Some only leave by falling off this mortal coil, like the extraordinary John Peel.
